A Man-Date is a dinner date between man and mate set in real time. Quirk and Bennett racked up hundreds of man hours going on actual man-dates (33 coffee dates, 13 dinners, 24 drinking sessions, 1 Pilates class, 2 concerts, 1 gym workout, 1 bike ride, 6 walks, 1 x swinging on swings, countless hours writing together and no women) in preparation for this live excursion into the minds and loins of two actual and real men and how they dine and what they discuss (Yoga, Chastity belts, last night, palm reading).

Directed by Heath McIvor, ‘Man-Date’ is the debut comedic collaboration between David Quirk and Benn Bennett.

Quirk is award-winning comic (The Incident with Sam Simmons – Golden Gibbo MICF 2010, 2012 Green Room Best Actor Nominee), who has toured Australia, New Zealand, UK and the USA. Bennett is a musician, writer and comedian, who has performed across Australia and the UK, with the likes of cabaret stars Wes Snelling and Ali McGregor.
